Russinan multiplication is great for kids who are just starting out with advanced multiplication.
Use this Russian Peasant Multiplication use this method to multiply any number between 6 & 10
The fingers are mentally memorized
The Pinky is .. 6
The Ring finger.. 7
Below finger .. 8
Next finger .. 9
& Thumb the 10
Any prime number can be multiplied in this example. To multiply 7 & 8
The tip of the 7 finger press on the tip of the 8 on the other hand. The touching fingers press of the above fingers below them are representing 10s so10,20,30,40,50
Now multiply the numbers of the reaming fingers on the left hand by the number of the remaining fingers of the right hand
3 times 2 is 6
50 + 6 = 56 &
7 times 8 is 56
This method can be used for any number multiplying between 6& 10
